Our goal was to find a nontraditional way to continue building the “You’re Not You When You’re Hungry” story and organically drive buzz for Snickers. When people are hungry, they exhibit out-of-character symptoms.
We placed branded stickers in everyday scenarios we encountered in New York, where mistakes had clearly been made, to remind people of the consequences of making mistakes due to hunger. We also installed our own examples of poorly-executed jobs around high traffic locations, grabbing people’s attention and generating buzz.
The campaign reminded people to curb their hunger before it gets out of hand.
In social media, users were encouraged to share any #HungryMistakes they encountered or made themselves
